Elad Geological Consulting was formed to meet the needs of the oil industry when horizontal drilling was first introduced into the Williston Basin. As horizontal drilling expanded, Elad has subsequently expanded its services. Because of our extensive experience in horizontal drilling we are now being called to work throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba and North Dakota.

The changes in technology that horizontal drilling has implemented has in turn necessitated corresponding changes in the provision of geological services as outlined below:

Primary emphasis has been placed on communication and teamwork; good on site communication and teamwork is essential with directional, engineering and rig hands at all times. With satellite communications it is now easier to keep you informed and current in your office or wherever you may be whenever you want.
We are using several different information and graphing programs, including: Power*Log and Power*Curve by Trivision for reporting and data display. These programs allow us to design a strip log to meet your needs and requirements. This enables us to provide you with the files necessary for electronic filing to the various Provincial departments. All the final reports come with all the graphs, charts and strip log presented in colour.
For horizontal wells, we not only supply strip logs and reports but also graph the data into cross sections that can display geological data and other parameters such as ROP, Gas and Gamma Ray.

We will supply a team of geologists who both have extensive horizontal and vertical experience in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and who will provide you with the best possible results for your drilling project.
